FAQ'S

1. HOW DO I KNOW HOW LONG OF A SESSION TO BOOK?

Your first bodywork session is a 75-90 min session to allow for enough time to assess your issue. We can discuss options available for follow up visits.

2. WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?

Please wear or bring comfortable loose clothing in case manual stretching is part of your session.

3. How do I book a session?

For your first bodywork session, please call (530-448-2937) or email (rootedbeinginfo@gmail.com) to connect and discuss what type of session would be best for you.

4. What if i need to cancel my appointment?

Please call or email if you need to cancel your appointment. Cancellation Policy: A minimum of 72 hours notice is suggested if you cannot make your appointment. If you no show or late cancel, the full fee for your session is due. Lala has a waiting list and needs enough time to contact those on the list.

5. WILL I BE SORE AFTER A BODYWORK SESSION?

That depends. Lala incorporates various forms of manual therapy with an emphasis on releasing the muscular and fascial tissues and/or relaxing the nervous system. Soreness may be minimized if you are well hydrated before and after your session. Everyone responds differently to the sessions but please communicate with Lala if you have any questions or concerns.

6. How many bodywork sessions will I need?

This can vary. If you've had a recent injury or a chronic condition, it may take a few sessions to restore balance in your body. If you have a regular self care regimen, i.e. practice stress management techniques, consistent stretching or fascial release routine and a balanced exercise or movement practice, you may feel a monthly or bi-monthly session is appropriate with the goal of receiving bodywork as part of your maintenance program.

7. what type of payment is accepted?

Payment in cash, check or Venmo is preferred to cut down on credit card processing fees. If you prefer to pay via credit card, please note the transaction fee is added to your total to help cover these costs.

8. If I'm feeling sick or I've been sick, should I keep my appointment?

If you're sick or if you feel like you're getting sick, please stay home. If you've been exposed to someone that has had a cold, flu and/or COVID19, please stay home. Please respect the health of my other clients and myself.
